MAN-CAT-MOUSE

Is a series of 3 prints laminated on wood.
They are presented  as a triptych.

the print on the left side is titled ‘It’s raining cats’.
This lithograph is conceived out of the traces a cat walking on a
lithographic stone made with gum arabic.

The lithograph on the right side is titled ‘Of mice and men’.
The mouse who drew the basic traces for this work came from
a pet food shop. The animal actually was pet food.
But after having put it in a cage on a stone along with some
lithographic tusche, it got a new life on a green terrain
near a city.

In the middle, the digital print ‘Housemouse’ is presented.
It is to be seen as a sublimation of the relationship between
the two lithographs.
